Check-in With Yourself with Thee Mindfulness Moments! {Mindfulness | Self-Care}

Now is the Perfect Time to Check-in With Yourself with These Mindfulness Moments to Make Sure You are Living Your Purpose!

“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”

“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”

If you have been feeling off, things don’t seem to be working out or something just feels like it needs adjusting, this may be the perfect moment to make some time to check-in with yourself and make sure you are living in alignment with your purpose and intentions.

In The Whole Cure and the accompanying Lifestyle Transformation Program. intentional living and figuring our your passionate purpose are key steps toward living in greater alignment, ease and fulfillment.

“If you wait until you are ready you will be waiting the rest of your life.”

“If you wait until you are ready you will be waiting the rest of your life.”

A first step in this type of reflection is getting clear on what you actually desire in life. When you’re clear on what you want and why, you can start taking steps to make it happen.

  • What does it mean to you to truly be alive?
What is one thing that you have been putting off that you really want to add into your life?
  • What would it mean to you if you accomplish this?
  • How would you feel?
  • What practices or habits help you reconnect with your passionate purpose?

“The purpose is life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”

“The purpose is life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without #fear for newer and richer experience.”

Once you are clear on what you truly desire, you can begin to take steps to align your actions and behaviors with achieving that passionate purpose. We each have unique gifts, talents and a purpose to share with the world. But even for the most inspired and driven of us, it can be easy to get stuck in a rut, blindly follow routine and lose touch with the internal guiding force within. Life can get stuck on autopilot.

Maybe you have heard that little voice inside of you before whispering “it is time to make a change, take a risk or to truly live life.” There are small mindfulness practices that can help you become more alive, more attuned to your true purpose and more aware.

For example, slowing down and simplifying can allow you to more clearly hear your intuition and step out of the chaos of a racing mind. Simplicity and minimalism can range from:

Learning to be still and be okay with focused presence without distractions is a core mindfulness practice that can transform your health and life!

“One can choose to go backwards towards safety or forwards towards growth. Growth must be chosen again and again; fear must be overcome again and again.”

“One can choose to go backwards towards safety or forwards towards growth. Growth must be chosen again and again; fear must be overcome again and again.”

As you do this work, it is not uncommon for many fears and blocks to arise. At the root of most fears is a fear of not having control.

Fear is a survival instinct alerting us to impending danger, but becomes a threat when our thoughts are stuck in a repetitive cycle. Once the fear pathways in the brain are ramped up, the brain short-circuits more rational processing paths and reacts immediately to signals from the amygdala. In this overactive state, the brain perceives events as negative, threatening and fearful and remembers them that way, triggering physical and emotional responses every time a similar fear stimulus shows up.

With mindfulness fear can be approached as a call to action. It advises us to avoid what is harmful to our lives and take affirmative action towards purposeful action. Since fear is a future occurrence, it is a reminder to reconnect to the present moment
