Gluten-Free Vegan Sea Salt Chocolate Granola with Macadamia Nuts

Simple vegan and gluten-free sea salt chocolate granola infused with cacao and full of plant-based protein, fiber and healthy fats! It makes the perfect quick breakfast, snack or dessert.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups gluten-free organic rolled oats
  • 1 cup chopped raw organic macadamia nuts
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder + 1 Tbsp
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup coconut nectar
  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips or chunks optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325F.
    Add oats, macadamia nuts, coconut, chia seeds, hemp seeds, coconut flakes,  salt and cacao to a large mixing bowl.
    Stir together melted coconut oil and warmed coconut nectar to combine. Pour liquids over the dry ingredients and stir well to coat evenly.
    Spread the granola mixture evenly onto a baking sheet.
    Bake 12-15 minutes until golden brown, stirring about halfway to bake evenly
    Allow to cool completely.
    Stir in chocolate chips if desired.

Notes

Store in an air-tight container for 1-2 weeks or in the freezer for up to 1 month.
